Six years ago, Josiah and Sarah started their journey into the STR vacation home world. The very first Airbnb/VRBO they stayed at, was along the California coast on their honeymoon. Since then, they have stayed in 35 vacation home rentals, traveled to 41 states, and 1 country. Traveling is top of the list for favorite things to do, and usually it doesn't take long for the travel bug to hit after a couple months at home! Since Josiah and Sarah have experienced so many different vacation rentals all over the country, they know the ins and outs of what guests want and expect in a host as well as a short-term rental experience. They have many things they love about vacation rentals, but also a list a pet peeves that they never want to see in a short-term rental they offer. Together Josiah and Sarah are a power couple known for getting things done and having the confidence plus energy to make it happen!

Some fun fact about Josiah and Sarah....

• It took Josiah 3 years to convince Sarah that a daily cup of morning coffee is necessary. 
• Grew up over 1000 miles apart but met in 2015 and married in 2017.
• Between the two of us we have remodeled or built 3 homes.
• Sarah's grandmother started a travel agency in the 80's.
• One travel aspect Josiah can't get Sarah to do is tent camping.
• Josiah is the second youngest in a large family, Sarah is the oldest in her family.
• One can play 4 instruments and loves to sing, the other claims they can't carry a tune. 

Sarah is the writer behind this blog and does all the computer work for Surf to Peak. Josiah keeps on eye on markets and what is the drive behind guests coming to a certain geographical area. Together they work with individual people and enjoy building relationships with those they interact with. Josiah and Sarah would love to work with you and hope to hear from you soon!
